Julia Domna, Augusta, 193-217. Quinarius (Silver, 16 mm, 1.49 g, 6 h), Rome, 207. IVL[IA] AVGVSTA Draped bust of Julia Domna to right. Rev. IVNO Juno standing front, head to left, holding patera in her right hand and long scepter with her left; at feet to left, peacock standing left, looking back. BMC 40. Cohen 83. King 3g (this coin). RIC 559. Very rare. A beautifully toned example with an illustrous pedigree. Faint cleaning scratches on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
